From September 2024, we’re bolstering our leadership team with an additional AMHL role. In the role, you’d join our Secondary team and become a member of the wider GLOW Maths Hub Leadership & Management group; helping to shape our strategy and approach, sharing best practice across the Maths Hub community and facilitating Work Groups and workshop sessions for teachers from all levels and backgrounds.

You’d also be responsible for establishing/building/enhancing relationships with key stakeholders across the education landscape - including Local Authorities, professional networks, universities, multi-academy trusts and the NCETM (National Centre for Excellence in the Teaching of Mathematics).

Requirements for the role 

We’re looking for someone who has an undeniable passion for maths, who is an education expert and is looking to take the next step in their personal and professional development.  

To excel in this role, you must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a solid track record in Maths teaching/leadership, a positive,‘can-do’ attitude/problem-solving mindset and an absolute belief in making maths accessible and enjoyable for all. 

We’re looking for one or two days’ release from your current teaching commitments; fully funded through the Maths Hub programme. There is some flexibility around the number of days/location of the role, and we’d be keen to discuss how it might work for you.
