I have taught for 25 years and have served as a math lead for 16 of those years. Throughout this time, I have witnessed the curriculum develop and evolve. I am particularly engaged with the current ‘mastery’ approach, which focuses on helping children gain a deeper understanding of mathematics rather than simply memorising processes. I have a genuine passion for teaching maths and aim to inspire other educators so that we can empower a new generation of confident mathematicians.
