I have been teaching at Huntley C of E Primary for over 11 years and have always been in KS2. My favourite subject at school has always been maths and began is Primary school when it seemed that was really the only subject I was very good at. I enjoyed statistics at sixth form and I was fascinated in how maths and data played a huge role in my Psychology degree. This was when my passion for education started, during the educational psychology module at university when I was intrigued about the different learning strategies. When I first started teaching, I began shadowing the maths lead almost instantly and was honoured to take over her role at Huntley after only teaching for 3 years. Watching the changes in progress of the pupils during the transitions into Mastery when we first joined GLOW was incredible and I knew that I wanted to be able to help othe4rs schools on a similar and great journey.
