This community is for teachers of learners with more complex needs, including special schools and mainstream inclusion bases, who are already participating in any Maths Hubs programme.
Teachers come together at two online twilight events to share approaches and learn from colleagues working in similar settings. Participants also gain access to an online collaboration space to share regional and national expertise.
This regional community supports teachers in adapting mastery principles for learners with more complex needs, and complements their school’s participation in a local Work Group.
This regional community is open to teachers in special schools and mainstream inclusion bases who are currently engaged in a Work Group or programme with their local Maths Hub.
Participation is optional and free. Teachers are encouraged to attend the two twilight webinars, and to contribute to the dedicated online community.
The Regional Special Schools Teaching for Mastery Community is fully funded by the Maths Hubs Programme and is free to state-funded schools.
