Headteacher Glenfall Community Primary School

Anthony (Mitch) has been the headteacher of Glenfall Primary School in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire for 14 years. His school has been involved in the work of the GLOW Maths Hub since 2015. The school undertook some transformational changes in its approaches to teaching maths and saw outcomes for pupils soar from broadly average to being consistently above national expectations. Mitch is the Deputy Maths Hub lead for GLOW and has delivered on a number of NCP’s during his 10 year involvement with the Maths Hub. Mitch has recently been involved in evaluating the work of the hub and identifying successful schools to feature as Stories of Impact for the Hub’s work. This has involved broadening his focus from Primary education into Secondary education too; something he has very much enjoyed.
