Catherine is the Head of Professional Learning at The Rivers CofE Academy Trust which is a family of 16 schools in Worcestershire, Sandwell and Dudley. Throughout her teaching career, she has been passionate about maths and has led the subject as an assistant head, head in two schools and school improvement executive. She holds the Maths Specialist Teaching qualification, an MEd and the NCETM School Development Lead. She now works across the Rivers CofE Academy Trust, leading on professional learning for the 15 schools as well as teacher training, ECT and NPQs for local and regional schools. She is passionate about maths being a subject for all, the power of collaborative professional development and particularly the development of early maths.
