Year 5 and Year 6 Teacher Meadow Green Primary School

Sue was appointed as one of GLOW’s Assistant Maths Hub Leads (Primary) in 2023 and she is the Maths subject lead at Meadow Green Primary School, Worcestershire. Her teaching approach is underpinned by the five big ideas of Teaching for Mastery, which aim to provide children with a deeper understanding of mathematical concepts, and she is particularly interested in the use of concrete resources in KS2. She is a Cohort 3 NCETM Primary Mastery Specialist, and she supports schools across Gloucestershire and Worcestershire as a Local Leader in Maths Education (LLME). She is passionate about all aspects of maths teaching and believes that all children can enjoy and succeed in maths.
